  1. I give 0 marks for all the pupils if i am the marker because they should use was every time we come across this questions we must always look at the person behind the NOR word and so the answer is :Neither Cindy nor Leslie was involved in the concert.

  2. I will also give 0 marks for all the pupils as for Pupil J and K,he/she should use Was.
Pupil L and M should use Was as the sentence is talking about about Cindy and Leslie NOT involved in the concert

  5. I will give all the pupils 0 marks. Reason: There was a grammatical error in each answer. The answer should be: Neither Cindy nor Leslie was involved in the concert.

  8. Pupil J: Neither Cindy nor Leslie are involved in the concert.

(0m)The 'are' must be change to 'is' which is singular that only represent the first girl and it should be in the past tense.

Pupil K: Neither Cindy not Leslie is involved in the concert.

(0m)The 'is' should be in past tense.

Pupil L: Neither Cindy nor Leslie were involved in the concert.

(0m)The 'were' must change to 'is' which is in singular.

Pupil M: Neither Cindy and Leslie were not involved in the concert.

(0m)The 'were' must change to 'is' which is in singular and the 'not' should not be placed in the sentence as 'neither' already represent 'not'.
