ReplyDeleteStudent a1 answers is incorrect.A correct hypothesis is :If differnt colurs of light would affect the rate of photosynthesis.Student a2 answer is almost correct but he/she is wring in a manner like an aim.Student a3 answer are incorrect as he/she is writing a relanship answer.
ReplyDeleteThe varaible that should change is the distance of light.He/she did not write in a complete sentence.
3 variables are amount of water, the same plant and glass beacker.
To make the exeperiment a fair test he must change the colour of light and the same amount of water.
He must observe that which plant in the beaker gave out the most air bubbles. The student answer did not compared so therfore it was wrong.

A.Student A1 Is Incorrect.Student A2's Response Is Like A Aim So It Is Incorrect.Student A3's Response Is A Relationship Answer.
ReplyDeleteB.He/She Did Not Include Where The Light Is Pointing To.It Should Be The Distance Of A Light Source From A Plant. We Could Just Take It Out From The Question.
C.The First 1,Water,Is Wrong. We Cant Just Write Water. It Should Be Amount Of Water Or Amt Of Water. The Second One Is Correct.Lastly,The Plant,Is Wrong. It Should Be Type Of Plant.
D.The Lights From The Diagram Is Wrong As The Aim Is To Find Out The how the distance of a light source from a plant would affect its rate of photosynthesis. So, Variable 1 Should Be The Colour Of Lights. In The Diagram, The Distance Of The Plant And Lights Are The Same.It Should Be Changed.
E.E1:He Cannot See The Rate Of Photosynthesis. It Is Impossible
E2:He Cannot Conduct A Starch Test As The Leaves Are In Water
E3:It Is Correct
Student a1 is wrong it is asking for rate of photosynthesis.Student a2 is wrong because it is to find out if the distance of light affects photosynthesis.student a3 is wrong the farther the distance of what it should add the plant.Student b1 is wrong distance of light from what.student c1 water and plant is wrong it is type of water and type of plant.student d1 is correct the colour of light is different the distance between light and plant is the same.student e1 is wrong it did not tell you how to observe the rate of photosynthesis.student e2 is wrong you do not need to conduct a starch test.student e3 is correct because if light, water, carbon dioxide and chlorophyll makes oxygen and food.
ReplyDeleteA. A1 is incorrect. A2 is incorrect. The aim is how the distance of a light source from a plant would affect its rate of photosynthesis. A3 is incorrect. He/she did not write the rate of the photosynthesis is slower or faster.
ReplyDeleteB. B1 is incorrect. Distance of light is not enough. He/she has to explain more about it.
C. Water, he/she did not write it is the amount of water or the type of water. Glass beaker is correct. Plant, he/she did not write type of plant or different plant.
D. The color of the light, the aim is to find out how the distance of a light source from a plant would affect its rate of photosynthesis. The distance between the light and plant is correct.
E. E1 is incorrect. He is not clear enough. E2 is incorrect. Ahmad is finding out the distance of light would affect its rate of photosynthesis. He/she does not need a starch test. E3 is incorrect. He/she did not compare the air bubbles.
A: Student A1 and A2 are incorrect.A1's response is not relevant to the aim.A2's response is written like a aim but it is a hypothesis question.A3 is also incorrect.A3's response did not state that the distance away from the light to the plant and also how fast and slow.
ReplyDeleteB:B1's response is incorrect as he/she did not explain well enough.
C: He/she cannot just write the variables like that as it may lead to many possibities like type of water, amount of water.
D:The distance between the light and the plant is correct but the colour of light is incorrect.
E:All response is incorrect. For E1,we are unable to check the rate of photosynthesis. For E2 ,we are not suppose to conduct a starch test. For e3,He/she did not state that he/she should compare the amount of air bubbles.
A:Student A1:He/She is incorrect as the aim of the experiment is: To find out how the distance of a light source from a plant would affect its rate of photosynthesis.
ReplyDeleteStudent A2:He/She is incorrect as he/she is giving a possible aim and not a possible hypothesis.
Student A3:He/She is incorrect as he/she should write:the farther/nearer the distance away from the light the slower/faster the rate of photosynthesis
B:Student B1:He/She is incorrect as he should not just write 'distance of light' and should write 'the variable that must be change is the distance from the light to the plant'.
C:Student C1:He/She should only get a 1/2 mark as he/she should not write just 'water' and 'plant' and he/she should write 'the amount/amt of water' and 'the type of plant'.
D:Student D1:He/She should reply:Ahmad should change the colour of the light to:red, green etc. and the distance between from the light to the plant.
E:Student E1:He/She should be specific and say that Ahmad should pluck one leaf from each plant and place each of them into a beaker of water and observe which leaf gives out the most air bubbles.
Student:E2:He/She is incorrect as conducting a starch test would not find out how the distance of a light source from a plant would affect its rate of photosynthesis.
Student:E3:He/She is incorrect as he/she should compare the air bubbles of each leaf
A.Student A1 is incorrect . Student A2's answer is an aim so it is incorrect . Student A3's answer is a relationship answer so it is incorrect.
ReplyDeleteB.He/She is incorrect as he/she did not explain clearly .
C.Student C is wrong as she/he only wrote "water and "plant" which is not specific enough , he/she should write 'the amount of water' and 'the type of plant"
D.The color of the light , the aim and distance is correct.
E.Student E1 is not specific enough. Student E2 is incorrect as Ahmad does not need to conduct a starch test. Student E3 is incorrect as he/she did not compare the air bubbles on each leaf .
a1)The hypothesis does not tell us what the aim is.
ReplyDeletea2)The answer is suppose to be a hypothesis not an aim.Student a2's answers is an aim not a hypotesis.
a3)The answer doesn't show the distance between the light and the _____??
b1)The light does not have a distance on its own.The answer must be the distance between the light and the plant.
c1)The answers are not completed.Student c must write type of water/amount of water, size of the glass beaker, type of plant/size of plant.
d1)Ahmad will not understand if we only write colour of light,we must write 'The colour of all the light must be green'.Ahmad will also not understand if we only write distance between the light and plant,we must write 'Distance between the light and the plant must be different.'.
e1)The answer does not show how we observe the rate of photosynthesis.
e2)There is no need for us to conduct a starch test because the aim is whether the distance of a light source from a plant would affect its rate of photosynthesis so we will not need to conduct a starch test.
e3)The answer should be 'He must observe the amount of air bubbles from each plant.' not 'He must observe air bubbles.'
a1) The hypothesis does not explain what the aim is.
ReplyDeletea2) The answer given is an aim.
a3) Distance between the light and WHAT?
b1) Light or the light source from the set-up. Not clear.
c2) The answer given not clear.
d1) Specify the colour of light.
e1) How would Amad observe the rate of photosynthesis.
e2) What?
e3) Just observe the air bubbles? What about the differences?
Student a1 answers is incorrect.
ReplyDeleteStudent a2 response is written like a aim but it is a hypothesis question
Student a3 is also incorrect.Student a3 response did not state that the distance away from the light to the plant and also how fast and slow
Student b1, light does not have a distance on its own.The answer must be the distance between the light and the plant.
Student c1, Water,Is Wrong. We Cant Just Write Water. It Should Be Amount Of Water Or Amount Of Water.Others is correct
Student d1 is correct the colour of light is different the distance between light and plant is the same
Student e1 should be specific and saying that Ahmad should pluck one leaf from each plant and place each of them into a beaker of water and observe which leaf gives out the most air bubbles.
Student e2, we no need to conduct a starch test because the aim is whether the distance of a light source from a plant would affect its rate of photosynthesis so we will not need to conduct a starch test.
Student e3 your answer is correct
a) all are incorrect as they tell the aim and the relationship but not the hypothesis.
ReplyDeleteb) the correct answer should be colour of light
c) it should be amount of water,
d) correct.
e) e1, e2 are incorrect but e3 is the only way to observe.
Student a1.)The diagram did not explain the aim of making food.
ReplyDeleteStudent a2.)The aim Ahmad had is to find out how the distance of a light source from a plant would affect its rate of photosynthesis, not different colours of light
Student a3.)The sentence is a relationship question, no a hypothesis.
Student b.)Student b did not say that where the light is at and from where.
Student c.)Student c did not say the amount of water and Student c did not say the type of plant.
Student d.)Student d is correct that the colour of light and the distance between the light and plant.
Student e1.)We could not observe the rate of photosynthesis but to test for starch.
Student e2.)Student e2 is correct as we need a starch test to observe the rate of photosynthesis.
Student e3.)Observe the air bubbles is for stomata and we are observing for the rate of photosynthesis.
I think response a1 and a3 is wrong.Response b1 is correct.response c1 is missing the distance of the light.the distance of light is correct but not the colour of the light.we cannot observe the rate of photosynthesis.student e2 is correct. They must observe the amount of air bubbles.
ReplyDeleteJerron
a) I think response a1 and a3 is wrong. The correct answer is a2.
ReplyDeleteb) Response b1 is correct.
c) Response c1 is wrong. The correct answer should be the amount of water, light and type of water.
d) Response d1 is wrong. The distance of the lights must be different and the lights' colour must be the same.
e) Response e3 is correct only. He can only observe the air bubbles
