LRD Reading Passport 2012 - Mind your Little Body
Hi Pupils
You will be receiving your LRD passport today. Sorry for the delay. I had slipped my mind that I should distribute the passports to you yesterday together with your weekly newspaper reading. Nevertheless, better late than never.
In the Passport, there are 6 activities to be completed over 6 weeks. Take your time to read through how to use the passport to find out more about your body.
You are going to work together as a class for Part 2 (page 5).
2. Look through the newspaper and find stories in which the word "stomach" is used. Can you write three sentences where the word appears? This should be a very simple task. Therefore, I am going to pose a challenge to you to try to find the word "stomach" in the other articles besides "Belly Good".
Leave your sentence(s) as a comment. Remember to include the title article and where it can be found.
Happy reading and hunting! Take this opportunity to revise your Science too!
Yours
