I am writing in to express my appreciation to the taxi driver, Mr Lim, who had rendered his assistance to me on 20 September 2009, 7pm at Sixth Avenue (1m).
I had been waiting for two hours by the side of the road before Mr Lim (1m) came to my rescue to change my punctured tyre (1m). After he had changed the tyre for me, I offered Mr Lim $50 (1m) for his trouble. Mr Lim readily refused my gesture of appreciation. He told me he was sincere in helping me. (1m)
I was thoroughly heartened by my whole encounter I had with Mr Lim. (1m) How I hoped everyone is as gracious and helpful as him.
